Main Baca is a series of closed, weekly play readings for younger actors to discover and discuss local and international plays. The project aims to create a space for actors to discover new works, and to offer opportunities to stretch their acting muscles outside the rehearsal room - without the all-too-familiar pressures of a full production. We also aim to stimulate engaging discourse through our post-read discussions.
WOMEN'S PLAY MARATHON 2021
Every other Monday, 8.30pm
In 2020, we reached our goal of zoom reading 50 plays by women, with actors and playwrights joining in from all over the world. But the marathon doesn't stop there!
This year, we aim to read another 25 plays by women. All are welcome to take part, regardless of gender, age or experience.
