Panas Panas is an independent artist collective founded in 2019 by Arief Hamizan, Ariff Kamil, Hana Nadira (Kuala Lumpur) and Ali Motamedi (Berlin). Brought together by a shared fascination of the profound, political, and absurd, the group aims to cultivate creative works inspired by the peculiarities and complexities of contemporary Southeast Asia.
